Dr. Tisdale has been helping families for over thirty years, problem solving and achieving results from alternative as well as traditional evaluations and therapies.
Dr. Alicia Tisdale is a fully Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Wayne State University and her Ph.D. degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Tisdale has appeared on local, national and international television and radio and has lectured and presented workshops locally to individuals, couples, parent and women's groups. She has presented workshops on the subject of Regression Therapy based on the research, work and publications of Brian Weiss MD.
She has also been quoted in several publications, including Readers Digest, Parent Magazine, Working Mothers Magazine, Child Magazine and The Jewish News. Additionally, Dr. Tisdale has co-authored a book with her sister, Char Margolis, a world renowned psychic intuitive, which was published in The Netherlands. The book is entitled "Innerlijke Kracht". It is based on the true stories of people with whom both Dr. Tisdale and Char Margolis have worked.
Dr. Tisdale has had extensive experience as both a public and private school teacher, school psychologist, as well as providing a full range of psychological services for children, families and individuals. This includes psychological evaluations, diagnoses, hypnotherapy, traditional psychotherapy, short term therapy, child and family therapy, grief counseling, divorce and marriage counseling.
Dr. Tisdale is affiliated with the American Psychological Association, Michigan Psychological Association, Michigan Women Psychologists, Michigan Association for Children with Emotional Disorders (MACED), International Association for Regression Research and Therapies, Inc (IARRT), American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (CHADD), World Mental Health Organization.
